Pupil premium is an allocation of funding provided to schools to support children who may be vulnerable to underachievement. The amount a school receives is dependent on the number of children who are in receipt of free school meals as well as looked after/ adopted children. All schools are required to report the amount of funding they receive and how this is being used.
At Flamborough Primary School :
We ensure that the teaching and learning opportunities are meeting the needs, and interests of all of our pupils.
All work through pupil premium us aimed at accelerating progress so that children are at least at age related expectations. The emphasis of this is initially with Literacy and Numeracy.
