The way of assessing pupils changed in 2016 and we are no longer allocating levels to the pupils. Instead they are required to reach to expected standard for their age.

 

2016 Results

Key stage 1

90% of the pupils passed the phonics screeningtest

61.1% of the pupils reached the expected standard in reading, writing and maths

83.3% of the pupils reached the expected standard in reading

66.7% reached the expected standard in writing

72.2% reached the expected standard in maths

 

In key stage 2

 

  • Percentage of these pupils who reached expected standard in reading – 50%
 
  • Percentage of these pupils who reached expected standard in writing – 87.5%
  • Percentage of these pupils who reached expected standard in maths – 68.75%
  • Percentage of these pupils who reached expected standard in GPS – 68.75%

Reading progress was -1.9  with the average scaled score being 101   and % achieving high attainment was 75%

Writing progress was 2.2, % achieving high attainment was 75%

Maths progress was 0.1  with the average scaled score being 103, % achieving high attainment was 50%The average scaled score for GPS was 103

This meant that in all three subjects our school's progress scores are not significantly different from National Average

 

2017 Results

Key Stage 1

79% of the pupils passed the phonics screening test

58% of the pupils reached the expected standard in reading, writing and maths

83% of the pupils reached the expected standard in reading

67% of the pupils reached the expected standard in writing

58% of the pupils reached the expected standard in maths

Each pupil was worth 8.3%

 

Key Stage 2

71% of the pupils reached the expected standard in reading

93% of the pupils reached the expected standard in writing as verified through LA monitoring

79% of the pupils reached the expected standard in maths

93% of the pupils reached the expected standard in GPS

71% of the pupls reached the expected standard in reading, writing and maths

 

Reading progress was -1.6 with the average scaled score being 103 and 21% at greater depth

Writing progress was 1.0 with 21% achieving greater depth

Maths progress was  -0.2 with the average scaled score being 104 and 21% at greater depth

The average scaled score for GPS was 106, 36% at greater depth

This meant that for all three subjects, our school's progress scores are not significantly different from National Average

 

2018 Results

Key Stage 1

87.5% of the pupils passed the phonics screening test

71% of the pupils reached the expected standard in reading, writing and maths

71% of the pupils reached the expected standard in reading, 24% at greater depth

71% of the pupils reached the expected standard in writing, 24% at greater depth

76% of the pupils reached the expected standard in maths, 24% at greater depth

 

Key Stage 2

92% of the pupils reached the expected standard, 33% at greater depth in reading

100% of the pupils reached the expected standard, 17% at greater depth in writing

100% of the pupils reached the expected standard, 50% at greater depth in GPS

100% of the pupils reached the expected standard, 25% at greater depth in Maths

 

Reading progress was 0.4 with the average scaled score being 107 

Writing progress was 0.4 

Maths progress was  0.6 with the average scaled score being 107 

The average scaled score for GPS was 110

This meant that for all three subjects, our school's attainment is above national for all subjects and progress scores are not significantly different from National Average
