At Flamborough we strongly believe that children are the heart of the school. Being such a small school, we are able to get to know our pupils extremely well and we have been commended on the wonderful relationships that are established within the school.
Pupils are proud of their school and feel that they have a say in what goes on within it. We have numerous groups within school that run and take responsibilty for varous areas such as School Council, Play Leaders, Junior Travel Ambassadors, Collective Worship Groups.
Sport & School Council
Every year, each class nominates a School Council Representative to sit on the Sports & School Council. They have regular meetings with Mrs Dinsdale and play a major part in determining who the school supports in terms of a charity, the activities that the school become involved with, such as Sports Relief and they also run stalls at fayres and events.
JTAs- The Junior Travel Ambassadors
Our JTAs are responsible for the Modeshift Award which is connected to the Active Travel Incentive. They arrange assemblies, monitor parking and run a number of incentives to encourage children to walk or cycle to school.
